I'm BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay. I am going to try and start blogging again now that I am home from my mission. It was such a wonderful experience! I am soooooo sad to not be in the Great Ohio anymore. I met so many people from all walks of life. I saw them change and sacrifice for the gospel of Jesus Christ. I encourage anyone who has a desire to serve the Lord to go on a mission. JUST DO IT! It's so worth it in the end. We had a motto in our mission, "It's not about us. DO WE GET IT?" I know that that 18 months was not about me, although I did learn and grow a LOT, but it was about the people I met and taught.

Tevon Shortridge got baptized!!!!! In Moundbuilders I served with Sister LeSueur and trained Sister Beck. This is Sister Beck in this pic. (Moundbuilders May-August 2010) The Bonds and Coco Pope's family in Beavercreek. I served with Sister Iotita. She was from Kiribati. If you don't know where that is that would be no surprise. It's a teeny tiny island near Fiji. (Beavercreek August-December 2010)

My life right now consists of getting ready for school, finding a job, and brushing up on my cello skills. I am starting school next Tuesday and continuing my Music Education degree. I have been practicing so much that I have a blister on my thumb. That's not good. My music has a lot of thumb position. Hope this goes away soon. I am also working on transferring to BYU-I in the fall. I have most of the application finished. I just now have to make a video for my music scholarship audition. I'm playing the Haydn Cello Concerto in C Major Mov't 3. It's super fast. This is how I got my blister in the first place. I'm also playing Brahms Sonata in e minor. Wish me luck because I SO WANT TO GET IN!!!!!!!!!!!! Boise State has been great to me. They've helped me develop my talent so much. But now I want something more and I think I can achieve that at BYU-I.
